LINJE is a service that makes pupils more confident when choosing an education program for upper secondary schoole. It is designed with pupils' needs in center. The service is unique in its sector, because it has been developed iteratively in collaboration with the users. Though the project we have talked with, interviewed, observed and held workshop for a total of 135 pupils, parents and counslers.
As the situation is today, pupils experience that they do not have enough knowledge about choosing an education program. National studies (NOVA-2017 / NOU-2016) show that depression and anxiety increase as the election approaches. In addition, parents guide their children based on their own prejudices and assumptions. In addition can current counseling and information services be experienced as problematic for the pupils due to great variation of quality.
Our service, LINJE, on the other hand, gives pupilss the information they need through an app, a website and a workshop for parents. The service will be introduced through the school system.
Utdanning.no bought LINJE in 2020. This means that LINJE actually will be realized, and it will hopefully be able to help pupils throughout the country with the choice of education very soon.
LINJE got the DOGA Award Newcomer 2020. Some of the feedback from the jury was "LINJE caused one of the jury members to spontaneously exclaim that this was something she wished existed when her own son had to choose high school."
LINJE also got prize for best service design project and a nomination for the category of complexity at the AHO works adwards 2019
